Cruise for Cancer
 

Every minute, every hour, every day... 

One person is diagnosed with cancer every 18 minutes in Queensland. Sadly, all of us know someone who is affected.

The Cruise for Cancer is a great community event that has been held for the past 25 years, where everyone has a day of fun, laughter, good company, and roaring Harleys!! 

Organised by Darling Downs Harley Owners Group (HOG), Harley-Davidson riders come together, admire these magnificent machines, while raising funds for such a worthy cause. 

Each year, the Darling Downs HOG design a ride to take in the spectacular views of the local area before stopping for a lunch where stories are swapped, friendships made and deepened, and more fundraising activities are run.  All riders receive a commemorative patch. 

Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 each year to sponsor a room at Cancer Council Queensland’s Olive McMahon Lodge, Toowoomba.   The Olive McMahon Lodge provides vital access to life-saving cancer treatment for regional Queenslanders by providing an independent living facility that is a home away from home for those who need to travel, at no cost to the patient.
